I am happy to restring (elastic) bracelets free of charge, providing all the beads are returned to me. There will be an additional cost if I need to replace gemstone beads, sterling silver accents, beads and charms.
Please note that you are responsible for all postal charges. I always recommend that you send your item via Royal Mail 1 st / 2 nd signed for - tracked post.
Please allow 2 weeks for your items to be repaired and returned to you.
Bracelets
To preserve the longevity of your bracelet, it is recommended that you roll your bracelet on and off your wrist. By pulling and stretching your bracelet will cause the elastic to weaken over time.
Avoid perfumes, lotions, sunscreen and other chemicals (deodorant, hairspray etc.) getting on your jewellery.
Do not wear your jewellery whilst swimming or leave it in the bathroom whilst showering or bathing. Humidity and moisture can speed up the tarnishing process.
When you are not wearing your jewellery, wipe clean and place in a zip lock bag and store in a dry and dark place.
925 Sterling Silver
Your jewellery has 925 sterling silver elements which will tarnish naturally over time. I have included a silver polishing / cleaning cloth which will help to bring back the shine to your jewellery.
The metal elements in my jewellery pieces are 925 Sterling Silver (unless otherwise stated). The law states that any piece of jewellery that is made with 925 Sterling Silver weighing above 7.78 grams needs to hallmarked by the Assay Office.
The 925 Sterling Silver elements is kept below the weight of 7.78 grams – therefore there is no legal requirement for me to hallmark my jewellery.
